Tooth Whitening

Some people may believe that the only way they will ever get whiter teeth is to have veneers installed. Although veneers will certainly do the job, the fact of the matter is they are simply not economically feasible for everyone.

Fortunately, there is another way.  With today’s dental technology, it is possible to get teeth that are several shades whiter in just a few short visits to our office. What’s more, tooth whitening costs far less than some other procedures, making it more accessible to those patients who are living on a tighter budget.

When you visit us for a tooth whitening procedure, we will first take an impression of your bite. We will use this to fabricate a tray that fits perfectly over your teeth.

Then, we will use a specialized whitening gel in the tray. Depending on your specific whitening procedure, we may have you come to our offices to use the tray and then follow it up with a procedure to really help the gel work its magic.

Or, we may send you home with the tray and gel, along with instructions for performing the whitening procedure at home.  Regardless of the method of whitening you choose, you’ll be amazed at the results. Imagine: whiter and brighter teeth without the hassle and expense of getting veneers!

Of course, as with pretty much everything, there are some things you need to know. For one thing, the whitening gel may not work on fillings, crowns, or other artificial materials. For another, particularly stubborn stains may need more extensive work before they come off.
