Veneers

A veneer is a thin piece of ceramic or porcelain that fits over your natural tooth.  It is permanently affixed, meaning you won’t need to bother with removing it for cleaning or maintenance. A veneer is crafted to fit the exact specifications of your unique dental pattern, meaning that your teeth will fit together nicely without any cumbersome extrusions.

When you come to Mabry Dental Care for veneers, we will first take an impression of your bite.  This will help us to ensure that the veneers we fabricate for you are perfect for your mouth. 

Next, after the veneers are ready, we will have you return to our office.  We will thoroughly clean your teeth and do any reshaping necessary to ensure a proper fit.  We will finely etch the surface of your teeth to facilitate the proper adhesion of the veneer to your tooth.

Next, using a special dental adhesive, we will carefully affix the veneer over your existing tooth.  However, please don’t think that because it uses an adhesive, this is a temporary or removable dental construction: a veneer is meant to remain affixed to your teeth at all times.

After the installation process is complete, you will go home with your new smile.  Care for your veneer is simple: just brush and floss your teeth as you normally would, and be sure to come see us every 6 months for your regular cleaning.
